What is coaching and what is it for?

Coaches help us deal with aspects of our lives we may be unaware of or may not know how to address. Different studies on coaching and effectiveness have demonstrated that coaching is four times as effective as traditional training; the return on investment of coaching processes is 500%. A study carried out by consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton found that the return on every dollar invested in coaching is equal to $7.90 (Metrix Global).
